At the end of September 2026 the RSA estimated 11.9 weeks until an applicant would be invited to book a test, across all centres (a year earlier: 9.8 weeks). Over the last 12 months 52.3% of 266,214 car tests were passes.

Shortest estimates: Birr (7 weeks), Kilrush (8 weeks), Shannon (8 weeks). Longest: Tallaght (22 weeks), Dun Laoghaire / Deansgrange (19 weeks), Portlaoise (Maldron Hotel) (17 weeks).
